Yoga Nidra, often referred to as yogic sleep, is an ancient practice that guides the practitioner into a profound state of conscious relaxation. This technique shifts awareness from the outer world to the inner self, inducing a deep sleep-like state where the mind and senses unwind completely. As brain activity slows down, the body enters a restorative phase, promoting healing. It's said anecdotally that an hour of Yoga Nidra can be as rejuvenating as four hours of regular sleep. During this restorative state, the body can engage in cellular repair, refresh the mind, and release deep-seated subconscious patterns. There will be no movement practice, only Savasana (lying on your back). Supported by bolsters, blankets, eye pillows, soft music and calming lighting
