Join us for a Spooktacular Halloween Chocolate Workshop where you will make spooky chocolate lollies with Halloween toppings. Children will learn how chocolate is tempered, pipe their own chocolate lollies and decorate them. • There will be plenty of time for creativity and experimentation. • It’ll take about 20 min for the chocolate to set. • At the end of the workshop, children will take home their lollipops. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) 1. What are the event timings, and are there multiple sessions? The event will run in six sessions throughout the day at the following times: 10.30am, 11.30am, 12.30pm, 1.30pm, 2.30pm, and 3.30pm. Each session is 30 minutes long and limited to 12 children. 2. How do I book my tickets, and is pre-booking required? Tickets can be booked online through La Mare Wine Estate's website. A 6% booking fee applies. Pre-booking is highly recommended as spots are limited to 12 children per session. 3. Is there a maximum number of participants per session? Yes, each session is limited to 12 children to ensure a fun and engaging experience for everyone. 4. Can adults participate in making lollipops, or is it strictly for children? This workshop is designed for children only. Parents and guardians are welcome to watch or enjoy refreshments in the Vineyard Café. 5. Can attendees bring their own toppings for the lollipops? No, only the provided toppings may be used to ensure consistency and safety. 6. Will there be Halloween-themed decorations? Yes, the venue will be decorated for Halloween to create a spooky and fun atmosphere. 7. How can I address specific dietary concerns or ingredient questions? You can enquire at the reception upon arrival. However, all dietary requirements must be selected at the time of booking. Dark chocolate is available as a vegan option. Unfortunately, we cannot cater for nut-free or other allergy-related concerns. 8. Can parents take photos during the workshop? To respect the privacy of all children, parents are kindly asked not to take photos during the workshop. However, there will be a professional photographer on-site, and guests can purchase branded photos at the photo booth. 9. What is the refund policy if I can’t attend the workshop? You will receive a full refund if you cancel 48 hours before the event. If you're unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to another child. 10. Will there be a photographer on-site? Yes, a photographer will be on-site to capture the event, and some images may be uploaded to our social media channels. Additionally, there will be a photo booth where you can purchase branded photos. 11. What happens if someone arrives late? We ask that all participants arrive 15 minutes prior to their scheduled session. If you're late, you may join the workshop in progress, but you will not be able to move into the next time slot. 12. Is there a dress code or any recommended attire? Children are encouraged to dress up in their favourite Halloween costumes, though it’s not compulsory. 13. What can I do while waiting in the Vineyard Café? Refreshments and a special Halloween menu will be available for purchase at the Vineyard Café. Extra seating will be provided in the main function room, located near the chocolate-making workshop. 14. Is the workshop wheelchair accessible? Yes, the workshop and venue are fully wheelchair accessible. 15. Are there any precautions for children with allergies? Aside from the nut-free policy, we are unable to manage other allergies in this workshop setting. If you have any concerns, please enquire at reception. 16. Can family members who aren’t participating in the workshop join? Yes, additional family members are welcome to enjoy food in the Vineyard Café. They may also purchase tickets for the separate Spooky Vines activities if desired. 17. Will Halloween-themed merchandise or treats be available? Yes, a special Halloween menu will be available in the Vineyard Café for guests to enjoy. 18. Can I purchase tickets to the Spooky Vines Event on the day? Yes, tickets will be available on the day as long as we are not sold out. However, we recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
