"More Films for Freedom"
: An evening showcasing short films by
international LGBTQIA+ filmmakers
. The British Council and the BFI Network paired UK producers with Syrian, Palestinian, South African, Nigerian, Libyan, Brazilian, French/Lebanese and Kenyan filmmakers, to create new short films.
Jersey Heritage has invited
Shan O'Donnell
—an artist and member of Jersey's LGBTQIA+ community—to curate a selection of these films that reflect their perspectives and experiences. Join us for an evening of daring short films that celebrate love as a universal human right, and discuss the issues they explore afterwards with one of the directors.
