Meet Our Speakers David Rogers - Managing Director, Financial Institutions, Gallagher David leads the Financial Institutions team at Gallagher London, with responsibility for client service, leadership, and insurance placement. With over 25 years of industry experience, David’s career began after graduating from University College London. He joined Aon in 1999, moved to Willis in 2003, and has been with Gallagher since 2014. Throughout his career, David has worked exclusively with financial institutions, including global banks, insurers, financial services firms, and investment managers. His team manages one of the most diverse portfolios of policyholders in the market. David retains an active role in policy placement and maintains daily contact with London market insurers. Anthony Kay - Group Head, Commercial and Professional Risks, Gallagher Anthony has more than 10 years of experience in the insurance industry. He joined Gallagher in 2020 and previously worked at Willis from 2015. Anthony leads Gallagher’s Commercial teams across the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man, providing bespoke insurance and risk management solutions to a wide range of corporate clients. Robert Christie – Partner, Bedell Cristin Jersey Partnership Robert is a Jersey Advocate, and also qualified as an English and BVI barrister. He specialises in trusts, company, commercial, and insolvency litigation. His practice spans high-value commercial matters, including breach of trust and directors’ duties claims, disclosure proceedings, enforcement of foreign judgments, and trust company litigation. Robert acts for both institutional and individual clients, including major trust companies, trustees, directors, beneficiaries, and shareholders. His experience includes securing litigation funding for clients where necessary and advising on director and trustee duties, especially in insolvency contexts. A graduate of Oxford University, Robert was called to the English Bar in 2006 and practised at Radcliffe Chambers, Lincoln’s Inn. Between 2012 and 2015, he worked for a leading offshore firm in the BVI, appearing regularly in the BVI Commercial Court and the Eastern Caribbean Court of Appeal. Since relocating to Jersey in 2015, Robert became a partner at a local firm in 2019 before joining Bedell Cristin as a partner in 2020. He continues to advise on cross-border litigation involving multiple offshore jurisdictions.
